The GPM & XPM Calculator Tool shows how your Dota 2 gold and XP per minute compare with other players of your hero, plus the full XP table.
Both numbers are on the end-of-game scoreboard.

This tool is created with love for Dota 2 and for helping you to play better every day and rank up! Have Fun and Enjoy!

The GPM & XPM Calculator Tool tells you if your gold and experience per minute are actually good. Pick your hero, type the GPM and XPM from the scoreboard, and see how many games of that hero you beat, based on OpenDota’s benchmarks for every hero. Axe typed 200. The calculator was quiet for a long time.

There is no single good number: roles farm very differently. Across all heroes in OpenDota’s benchmarks, the typical core makes about 561 GPM and the typical support about 350 GPM (median game of each hero, Valve’s role labels). These heroes have the highest and lowest median GPM:
OpenDota hero benchmarks (recent public matches, fetched 2026-09-25). Click a hero to load its median into the tool.
Supports on the low list: do not be sad. Your GPM is low because you bought the wards. Axe respects the wards. Axe never buys them.
Heroes go from level 1 to 30. There is no formula behind it, every level has its own number. The XPM column shows the average XPM you need to hit that level at 20 or 30 minutes.
